Dr. Selina Laiwala

Dr. Selina Laiwala has joined Ascent Health as the Chief Operating Officer, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her successful tenure at Evercare Hospitals Dhaka (formerly Apollo Hospitals).

During her 18 years of service there, she progressed to the role of General Manager of Medical Services, overseeing the growth of the facility from an international standard medical center to a multi-specialty, tertiary care, and JCI accredited hospital. This afforded her the opportunity to collaborate with various departments, both clinical & managerial, within the world-class facility.

In addition to her medical background, Dr. Selina also holds an MPH degree and has received recognition for her voluntary medical services in esteemed social organizations such as Rotary and the Aga Khan community. With her expertise, Dr. Laiwala is now making contributions to Ascent Healthcare Limited, as the company aims to establish a new standard in medical services in Bangladesh.
